Lake Washington is a natural lake located in the United States and also the second largest lake in Washington. The “Lake Washington Residence” is a project from Johnston Architects, which combines old with new and the past with the present. The residence was built for a young family who wanted to keep a feeling of casua in their new home, but instead have large, bright and modern rooms. The results were spectacular, as you can see in the pictures which follow the text. Protective steel was added to the glass and wooden isolating materials in order to “fight” those harsh winters and keep the place nice and cosy. – Photo Credits : Will Austin
